Job Description

Home Start, a non-profit agency dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and strengthening families, is seeking a part-time site coordinator to provide support to the VITA Program. This is a part-time, temporary position from January through April 2020.  The site coordinator will provide support to the VITA Program in the training and supervision of tax volunteers and quality control of prepared tax returns.   

Skills / Requirements

AA degree or equivalent education and experience; bilingual (English/Spanish); and background in Accounting and/or taxes preferred.  Must have IRS Certification in tax preparation or complete as part of the clearance process.  Leadership and supervision of volunteers a plus.  Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and good interpersonal communication skills. Must have flexible hours, evenings and weekends, for this position.
