Job Description

Home Start, a non-profit agency dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and strengthening families, is seeking a program associate to provide support to the First Steps program in East San Diego County. The program associate, under the supervison of the Program Manager, will assist with administrative duties including:

  • Report production
  • Statistical analysis of program evaluation data
  • Data entry into CMEDS data base
  • Answering phones
  • Assisting with client intake calls
  • Providing program information to perspective clients or professions from referring agencies

Skills / Requirements

BA/BS and two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required; bilingual, English/Arabic preferred.   Must have excellent organizational and administrative skills including proficiency in computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets and data base management) and excellent oral and written communication skills.  The ability to multitask with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands is essential.
